Object 9 is a growing full-service agency located in Atlanta, GA. We’re looking for a talented junior to mid-level graphic designer to join our growing Atlanta creative team.

We are internally drama-free and will remain that way until the year 2062, the probable year robots will awaken and enslave humanity (we’ll do what we can, but no promises).
You’re not just another mouse jockey taking orders. We take great pride in the work we produce, and know that self-direction and improvement is key to producing that work. That being said, we have Niners with years of experience, ready to provide those nudges in the right direction when needed.

You’re right for the job if:

You dream in typography and can reference The Elements of Typographic Style without a single key press in the Google search bar.
You thrive on diversity in work. Our clients range from Fortune 500 companies needing internal communications materials to mega brands that are revitalizing their packaging for the modern age. We also work with smaller brands that are leveling-up to the big boys and need the image to match.
You know Adobe Creative Suite inside and out. By know, we mean you have all the cheat codes memorized and can convince an onlooker that you’ve achieved a god-mode that they can only hope to rise to. This position will be primarily print-focused, so Photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign are your tools of choice.
You are both excited and a little sad when a new Hoefler typeface is announced. So beautiful, but you’re reminded of the public break-up every time.
You don’t get overwhelmed easily. We have a saying around here that you need to cry “uncle” when you get overloaded. We have plenty of talented folks under our roof, but if someone isn’t carrying their weight, we all feel it.
You live in, or are willing to move to, the metro Atlanta area. This is a full-time, on-site position. It’s worth it – we think you’ll like our home and the no-drama environment we’ve worked hard to create.
You have a little experience. We’re not looking for a senior-level wizard with 10 years experience, but having something will give you a leg-up. That may be an internship during your senior year or an out-of-college junior level position. That being said, we know it’s all about the work.
You have a commitment to your craft. You’re continually pouring over the latest annuals, leveling-up on the latest techniques, and always improving.
You have an applicable degree. Your work takes priority, but 4+ years dedicated to learning and honing your skills speaks volumes.

It probably won’t work out if:

You’re looking for an “Art Director” role We are a small shop, so everyone gets their hands dirty. If you’re looking for a position where you show up and direct others while sipping martinis, this isn’t it. We’re a relatively flat organization assembled to include a team of extremely competent like-minded folks. We’re more concerned with producing kick-ass work and doing the right thing than official titles.
You are easily overwhelmed. We have a lot of work come through our doors with high expectations when it comes to visual and creative execution.
You only work on “X”. Did we mention we work on just about everything? From identity design to precisely organized internal presentations, we’re a swiss-army knife of creative for our clients (except the toothpick – who uses that thing anyways?).
